My name is Sabine Leiting.
I am responsible for crime prevention in the field of addiction and drug prevention and the associated youth protection.
The aim of police addiction and drug prevention is to properly educate and sensitize young people, teachers, parents and multipliers in order to promote the health of each individual, counteract abuse and addiction and avoid criminal offences.
The range of advice and information includes
- Information events for groups (e.g. parents' evenings, teachers' conferences, etc.)
- School educational work as part of projects
- Multiplier training
This involves providing information about
- the law for the protection of minors
- legal and illegal addictive substances
- current situations and trends
- Development and causes of addiction
- Substance and legal knowledge from a police perspective
- Criminal law/social consequences
transmitted accordingly
We are the point of contact for all persons involved in the educational process, in particular parents, legal guardians, teachers, educators, caregivers, trainers, multipliers and other interested parties.
We are not an addiction counseling center!
Please bear in mind before making your inquiry that the police must initiate an investigation on suspicion of a specific criminal offense due to the obligation to prosecute (Section 163 of the German Code of Criminal Procedure)!
